Trixie AU-AG Mine

The Trixie mine is a historic high-grade gold-silver underground mining operation located in TCMs East Tintic mining district. TCM is currently in the process of reopening the Trixie mine, with refurbishment of the main shaft commencing in September 2019. Access to the upper 625 and 750 level development was obtained in January and April, respectively, 2020 and confirmed the excellent condition of the underground mine working, with the company’s intention to complete rehabilitation of the upper levels of the mine infrastructure to support ongoing resource definition drilling and lateral mine planning and development.

An exciting new high-grade resource opportunity has been identified by TCM from the historic legacy data, with the identification of a new high-grade structure supported by drilling completed in 2001-2002. Additional underground resource definition drilling is planned by TCM to commence in late May 2020 to further outline and build on this high-grade resource opportunity, with lateral mine planning and development to open up areas for future mining. A new resource estimate for the Trixie project is expected late 2020, with first production from the mine scheduled for early 2021.

During its last period of operation in 2002, the Trixie mine operated at an average grade of 0.66 opt gold. The identification of a previously unrecognized high-grade vein structure reporting multi-ounce drill intersections immediately accessible from the current mine development, represents an exciting new opportunity for TCM with the re-establishment of the Trixie mine as a new high-grade gold producer in the East Tintic District.
